Olaguoke “Goke” Akinwande M.D. is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist and Endovascular specialist. He is the founder & medical director of Midwest Institute for Non-surgical Therapy (MINT) with locations in Creve Coeur, Bridgeton and South County.

Dr. Akinwande completed his residency at the University of Louisville Hospital in Kentucky followed by an Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After his fellowship, he accepted a research and clinical fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore where he received a competitive National Institute of Health research grant and he worked on investigating a novel minimally invasive technique to treat obesity (AKA bariatric embolization).

His clinical practice includes uterine fibroid embolization for non-surgical treatment of symptomatic fibroids, peripheral arterial disease management and treatment, and treatment of venous disease. He also performs arterial and venous vascular imaging in his office.
