Ramis Gheith M.D. is a Pain Management physician with subspecialty board-certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. After completing his medical internship at Louisiana State University, he was appointed Chief Resident in Anesthesiology during his residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. While earning his fellowship in Pain Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Gheith was appointed an Instructor of Anesthesiology.

Prior to moving to St. Louis, he served as the Director of Pain Management at Carle Clinic Association.  As founder of the Interventional Pain Institute, Dr. Gheith has clinical interests in the advancement of interventional treatments for post-laminectomy pain syndrome, spinal arthritis, complex neurological pain disorders including complex regional pain syndrome, post-herpetic neuralgia and painful neuropathies. Some of the treatments he performs involve the application of radiofrequency ablation and other sophisticated technological advances such as neuro-modulation including both spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery therapies. A Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, he is also a member of numerous local and national medical societies and associations.
